Sunshine Foundations 15th Annual RunWalkBark 4 Dreams

The Sunshine Foundation is hosting a 5k run/ 2 mile walk to raise funds for chronically ill, physically challenged and abused children.

This year marks the Sunshine Foundation's 15th Annual RunWalkBark4 Dreams in lovely Tyler State Park. Family and friends will come together to walk or run along picturesque 5k or 2k trails. Well-behaved pets are welcome. It is a fun day with food, live entertainment, and prizes! Kathryn, 11, with downs syndrome is one of the many children who will get a Dream Come True thanks to this year's RunWalkBark 4 Dreams.

Mission/Vision:
Sunshine Foundation's mission is to answer the dreams of children who are chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged or have been abused. Children with diagnoses such as, but not limited to, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, severe autism, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, sickle cell disease and lymphoma turn to Sunshine to fulfill their most desired dreams. For 40 years, the Sunshine Foundation has helped create giggles, smiles, and even uncontrollable laughter to over 40,000 children.
