Support the Red Cross by Spinning
The Lower Bucks County Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold its annual "Spin for the Red" fundraiser at the NAC on March 25.

Since 1881, the American Red Cross has helped victims of disaster, the homeless, members of the armed forces, children, and others in need.
Now, you can help the nation’s most recognized humanitarian organization help others through an afternoon of exercise.
Spin for the Red, a fundraiser benefitting the Lower Bucks County Chapter of the American Red Cross, will be held Friday, March 25 at the .

Four, 45 minute spin – indoor cycling – sessions will be held starting at 5 p.m. Participants make a minimum donation of $50 per session and are encouraged to raise additional funds on their own, said NAC spin instructor Daniel Griffin.
The Lower Bucks County Chapter created the event to raise funds while also encouraging fitness for the participants, Griffin said. "The event is designed for experienced spinners as well as people new to the activity," he added.

Griffin said anyone can participate. NAC membership is not required. All collected funds go to the Lower Bucks County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Spin for the Red has raised more than $25,000 for the Lower Bucks Chapter since its inception in February 2007, Griffin said. The event has always been held at the NAC.
There will be a post-spin party in the new member lounge, where March Madness basketball games will be on television. All participants will receive a gift bag.
The Lower Bucks County Chapter provides a variety of programs and services, including help for the homeless, youth programs, blood donation efforts, disaster victim counseling, support for members of the military, and more.
The Lower Bucks County Chapter also operates the county’s only emergency homeless shelter.
