​Suspected Drunk Driver Tries To Run Over Homeowner In Newtown: Police

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police have charged a driver with recklessly endangering another person, driving under the influence, and endangering the welfare of a child following an incident on Wrights Road on Sept. 18.

At about 9:30 p.m., Newtown Township Police responded to Wrights Road for the report of a motorist who had driven onto someone's property while intoxicated and then tried to run over the homeowner.

After an investigation, the driver was taken into custody, charged and processed.
