Suspected Thief Sought In Upper Makefield

The suspect was first seen peering through the Lafayette Drive resident's windows before taking items from the car, police say.

Upper Makefield police are trying to identify a person who was first seen peering through a Lafayette Drive resident's windows, then later went through the homeowner's car. The incident was reported on March 7, just after 12:30 a.m.

Police were notified that a suspect was going through the resident's car, and after viewing surveillance footage, officers learned he had been looking in the windows.

Police believe it is the same suspect captured on surveillance in a previously reported theft from a vehicle.
