Suspects Sought By Police For Passing Counterfeit Bills In Newtown
According to police, the suspects purchased nominally-valued items primarily to get change in the form of legitimate U.S. currency.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Police Department is searching for two individuals suspected of passing counterfeit money in the township.
On March 6, police received multiple reports from businesses in the Village at Newtown, including Chopt, Crumbl Cookies, Mod Pizza, and Chipotle of a man and woman passing counterfeit $100 for store food items.
According to police, the suspects purchased nominally-valued items primarily to get change in the form of legitimate U.S. currency.

The man wore a black beanie, a red Polo Ralph Lauren Teddy Bear Reindeer knit sweatshirt, gray/black Adidas tapered logo pants, and a pair of black New Balance sneakers.
The woman wore a puffy black coat, white tie-dye leggings, black Ugg-style boots, and a blue Neo-G knee brace on her right knee.
