Teacher Spotlight: Michelle Flynn 'A Guardian Angel' To Her Students

She was my son’s 8th-grade reading teacher.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She is truly what a teacher should be. She would have lunch twice a week with her students, giving up her own lunch. She had an open-door policy. She taught them confidence and she believed in every single one of them. She would make them responsible for their work. I would always say that she is a Guardian angel to students.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

If you are lucky enough to get her as a teacher you hit the jackpot. My son became a better student after having her.
