The Temperance House Now Open

The Temperance House has reopened under new ownership.

The restaurant served its first meal in nearly two years on Thursday. The Temperance house is now owned and operated by Melissa Corea, Kevin Tate and Debbie Perkalas, the Newtown Advance reports.

From now until Tuesday, the restaurant will open at 3 p.m., according to The Temperance House Facebook page. Starting Wednesday, lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. The restaurant also has plans to serve brunch.
