Tennis Coach Charged With Sexual Assault In Bucks County

Police are asking for the public's assistance to identify other possible victims.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — A 24-year-old tennis coach from Upper Makefield has been charged with sexual assault involving a township juvenile

On January 2, police began investigating an alleged sexual assault involving a juvenile resident. The subject of the investigation, Hector Andres Jacome Jamarillo, is a tennis coach who worked as a private instructor and at different facilities and camps, police said.

During the course of the investigation, police learned that the alleged assaults occurred in Solebury Township, Upper Makefield, Florida, and in foreign countries where the juvenile victim and Jaramillo had traveled to for tennis tournaments.

Jaramillo was arrested at his home in Washington Crossing on January 3 following an investigation by the Upper Makefield Police Department, the Solebury Township Police

Department and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

Jaramillo has been charged with aggravated indecent assault (without consent); aggravated indecent assault (with a child under the age of 16); sexual assault by a sports official; Indecent Assault (without consent); indecent assault (with a child under the age of 16); endangering the welfare of children; and the corruption of minors

After Jaramillo’s preliminary arraignment, he was remanded to the Bucks County Corrctional Facility after failing to post bail.
