Thanksgiving Food Drive Launched By Council Rock Interact Clubs

Donations will be delivered to the Wrightstown Food Pantry for redistribution to local families in need.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock North and the Council Rock South Interact Clubs are teaming up to hold a Thanksgiving Food Drive for families in need.

Between now and Nov. 18, the clubs will be collecting peanut butter, jelly, pasta, pasta sauce, macaroni and cheese, canned tuna, canned soup, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned cranberry sauce, instant mashed potatoes, boxed or bagged stuffing, gravy, muffin mix, cereal, coffee and tea.

Items can be dropped off through Nov. 18 in the lobby at Council Rock High School North and at the A-Wing/A-6 at Council Rock High School South.

Donations will be delivered to the Wrightstown Food Pantry.

The student-led clubs are sponsored by the Newtown Rotary Club. The clubs organize service projects and follow the Rotary mantra of "Service Above Self."
