Therapeutic Riding Center In Wrightstown To Host Country Festival

The April 11 event on Swamp Road will feature games, pony rides, food trucks and raffle baskets.

WRIGHTSTOWN, PA — The Parkwood Therapeutic Riding Center is inviting families to its Country Festival on Saturday, April 11, from 3 to 6 p.m. at 543 Swamp Road. The event is planned as a family afternoon fundraiser to support the riders and programs at the center.

According to the event announcement, the festival will include classic carnival games, a petting zoo, temporary tattoos, a pie-eating contest, a themed photo booth, pony rides, and raffle baskets with local items. Food trucks also will be on site during the event.

Organizers are encouraging residents to “bring the whole family for a day of laughter, games, and country charm.” It also states the event will support “the amazing riders and programs at Parkwood TRC.”

Parkwood Therapeutic Riding Center is located at 543 Swamp Road. Tickets are available in advance or at the door, according to the announcement, which also says there is room for attendees to buy tickets on the day of the festival.

The event is scheduled for three hours on Saturday afternoon and is built around activities for children and adults. Along with pony rides and the petting zoo, the lineup includes carnival-style attractions and raffle baskets featuring local goods.

Tickets are $10 per person. Children under the age of two are admitted free. A VIP admission is also available for $35 per person. The wristband entitles its bearer to unlimited rgames, one temporary tattoo, pie-eating contest entry and unlimited pony rides. There's also a $35 family rate for four people which includes admission to the event, petting zoo access and 2o tickets to use during the event.
