Three Trucks Taken Off The Road During Safety Detail In Wrightstown

WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Three trucks were placed out of service, 10 citations were issued and 13 issues were warnings during a commercial vehicle safety detail in Wrightstown Township.

The detail took place on Oct. 19 in the area of Durham Road and Fox Hill Drive in Wrightstown Township. The unit is made up of officers from this department, the Newtown Borough Police Department, and the Upper Makefield Township Police Department.

During the detail, 16 trucks were stopped and inspected. Three trucks were placed out of service, and ten citations and 13 warnings were issued for violations that were found.
