Thunderstorm Warning In Bucks Co., 70 MPH Wind Gusts Reported

A severe thunderstorm warning is in place in Bucks County through 6:30 p.m. Monday as a storm with 70 mph wind gusts, heavy rain, and frequent lightning moves through the area.

Bucks County residents should move indoors immediately, the NWS said.

"Widespread wind damage has occurred with these storms," the NWS said. Also: "Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings."

In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
