Together For Council Rock Candidates Help "Stuff The Bus"
Candidates and their supporters assemble 57 backpacks chock full of school supplies for kids throughout the county.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Together for Council Rock school board candidates kicked off the new school year by packing backpacks in support of the United Way of Bucks County's "Stuff the Bus" campaign.
The candidates assembled 57 backpacks chock full of school supplies donated by the candidates and their supporters. The items included crayons, notebooks, binders, erasers, pencils, highlighters, safety scissors, pencil cases, and more.
"Together for Council Rock candidates want every Bucks County child to have the tools they need to succeed at school," said spokesperson Rebecca Tillet. "We were excited to celebrate the start of the new school year by supporting the Bucks County United Way Stuff the Bus effort."

As the largest back-to-school project in the community, Stuff the Bus benefits more than 3,000 students in need from every school district in Bucks County.
Stuff the Bus is presented by Univest and is sponsored by First National Bank & Trust of Newtown, Comcast, Dunmore, Foundations Community Partnership, L3Harris Technologies, and PECO.
