Town-Wide Waldo Scavenger Hunt Starts Saturday

NEWTOWN, PA — Kids around Newtown will again have the chance to find Waldo in a special month-long event hosted by the Newtown Bookshop. The scavenger hunt to find Waldo in participating local businesses - and win prizes and coupons - kicks off Saturday, July 1 and will go through July 26.

Here's how to participate, according to information shared by the bookshop:

• When you spot Waldo at any one of the businesses listed on the passport, collect a store stamp or signature. (Click Here to Get Your Passport)
• When you’ve collected at least 10 different store stamps/signatures, bring them to The Newtown Bookshop to claim a “Waldo” button and a “$1 off” coupon (limited to first 100 Waldo spotters).
• If you collect at least 16 of the 19 possible store stamps/signatures, bring your passport to The Newtown Bookshop to get a Waldo button and a coupon plus be entered in a drawing for set of Waldo books and other fun prizes.

A celebration and grand prize drawing will be held on July 26 at 7 pm at the Newtown Bookshop.
