Championship instruction, opportunity and seasons continue at Tri-Township through the fall showing great signs of what is to come for 2017
Baseball is alive, well and strong at Tri-Township Baseball as they continue to host playoff games, work-outs, tournaments, and even a fall festival all within the next 14 days. Players filled the grounds this weekend as try-outs have started for the 2017 season for all ages, but Tri-Township did not want to jump the gun and finish the season just yet, there is unfinished work.
Tri-Township Baseball's fall team again showed their team chemistry and resiliency by responding with quality at-bats, home runs of their own, aggressive baserunning, and fine pitching performances. The team briefly gave up an early lead but rebounded in full force. But after that, they came together, picked their teammate like they have done all season, and slammed the door on their opponent in all aspects of the game. Everyone up and down the line-up contributed to the team victory, 12-7. The team is ready to host their championship game on Saturday November 5, at their home baseball fields on the beautiful Middletown Grange Fairgrounds. Stay tuned for more details on their victory and the Championship game.
Next weekend, Tri-Township is also hosting a 13u tournament, followed by the community's celebration on November 12 where everyone, from all leagues and communities are invited to join in a celebration of baseball, participate in a home run derby and skills, contests, an also enjoy raffles, drawings, give-a-ways, giant games, karate demonstrations, magic shows, and even inflatables.
