Tri-Township wins Senior Babe Championship, 6-1 over Newtown Blue

Tri-Township Falcons erupted for 5 runs in the top of the 9th to defeat Newtown and win and Senior Babe Ruth Championship. A solid pitching performance by Ruggles, and small ball execution allowed tri-Township to break open an otherwise extremely tight game and win the crown. Next up for Tri-Township, well a few more tournaments to add some trophies to their collection. A great group of young men whose charactar on the field reflected the skills they showed during the game.

Next up for Tr-Township, an exciting Fall ball season, starting with Open Work-Outs this Saturday at 10 a.m. at Tri-Township FIelds on the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds for both a 50/70 team on the Majors Field and a rising 13u team, welcoming them onto the Big Diamond.
