Truck Flips Over, Driver Injured On Swamp Road In Newtown
A quarry truck flipped over on Swamp Road in Newtown Township on Tuesday injuring the driver and spilling its gravel into a field.
WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A quarry truck headed southbound in the 400 block of Swamp Road in Newtown Township flipped over Tuesday afternoon injuring the driver and spilling its load of gravel into a field.
The accident happened just after 1 p.m. between Twining Bridge and Worthington Mill roads.
Rescue 35 and Engines 85 and 95 from the Lingohocken Fire Company responded to the scene for the report of an overturned truck with entrapment.

Also assisting at the scene were the Newtown Township Police Department and the Newtown Ambulance Squad.
The driver was transported to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries and the truck was towed from the scene.

The accident is under investigation by the Newtown Township Police Department.
