Twinkle Violin Class (ages 6-7)

This class is designed for children ages 6 to 7. The rental of a violin is recommended. Dr. Suzuki’s “Mother Tongue” Method will be used. “I know a fox with dirty socks” and Twinkle variations will be introduced. Children will be taught to hold the violin, play pizzicato and slight more advanced musicianship beyond “pre twinkle” classes. Pitch recognition, the major scale, intonation, and slightly more advanced rhythm will be introduced as well as reading of the treble clef. Parental attendance is required.
