Two Bucks County Men Arrested In Statewide Child Pornography Bust: Attorney General

Two Bucks County men have been arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography, Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane announced Friday.

Boris Gevorkov, 41, of Richboro and John C. Woods, 54, of Bensalem are among eight men statewide whose arrests in conjunction with child pornography were announced by the Attorney General Friday.

According to information from Kane’s office, Gevorkov, who lives on Whitney Lane in Richboro, was arrested June 15 after authorities found a laptop computer and other media devices in his possession that contained numerous apparent child pornography files.

Gevorkov has been charged with one count of distribution of child pornography, five counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communications facility.

His preliminary arraignment was held June 15 and his bail was set at $100,000. Gevorkov was unable to post bail and was remanded to the Bucks County Prison. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 16.

Woods was arrested June 16 after a search warrant was executed at his Oriole Drive residence in Bensalem. His computer was examined by agents of the Office of Attorney General’s Computer Forensics Unit. Agents found numerous apparent child pornography files, Kane said in a statement.

Woods has been charged with one count of distribution of child pornography, five counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communications facility.

His preliminary arraignment was held on June 16 and bail was set at $250,000. Woods was unable to post bail and was remanded to the Bucks County Prison. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 30.

Agents in the Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section are conducting a continuous online investigation to identify those possessing and sharing child pornography, the Attorney General said.

  • Michael A. Martin, 61, 322 N. Negley Ave., Apt. 10, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County
  • Benjamin A. Hodgson, 26, 415 Church St., Gallitzin, Cambria County
  • Kensil Bowman Jr., 47, 3114 Oak Ave., Altoona, Blair County
  • Mitchell L. Vlassich, 38, 138 Jefferson St., Apt. 11, Butler County
