Two Ceremonies at Garden of Reflection to Mark 9/11
Morning and evening ceremonies will be held at the Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield.

Two somber ceremonies are set to mark the 11-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on America and the thousands of lives that were lost.
A morning rememberance ceremoney and a evening event will be held Tuesday at the Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield.

The morning Honor and Remembrance Ceremony is set to start at 8:30 a.m.
A candlelight vigil will begin at the Garden of Reflection at 7 and end at around 7:30 p.m.

Both events are free and open to the public.
The memorial was designed by Yardley architect Liuba Lashchyk AIA in the first few years following the attacks and features an area of remembrance for the 18 Bucks County residents who died in the attacks, another memorial for all of the nearly 3,000 victims, two steams of water to represent the twin towers and a piece of steel from the World Trade Center site adorns the memorial.
The Garden of Reflection is located at 1950 Woodside Road in Lower Makefield Township.
