Tyler Park Reopens, Still No Trace Of Missing Woman

The search for Lindsey Piccone is ongoing as Tyler Park reopens after a two-day closure.

Tyler Park has reopened to the public but the search for a missing 21-year-old whose abandoned car was found there Tuesday is ongoing.

Park Ranger Eric Ihlein said Friday searchers still had not located Lindsey Piccone, however the park is now open to the public. He said the search so far has unearthed no additional clues into the whereabouts of the missing Bensalem woman, whose car was found there Tuesday.

"We are still searching," he said.

Ihlein has said there is no public threat in connection with the woman's disappearance at the 1,711-acre park. The search for her began Tuesday night, and continued all day Wednesday and Thursday. It resumed Friday morning.

Piccone's family and professional search teams, including authorities from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources as well as K-9 dog teams, are scouring the park for a trace of the young woman.

During a Wednesday afternoon press conference at the park, her family pleaded for her to contact them. "Lindsey, if you're listening, you are so loved," said family member Heather Andrews. "We aren't giving up until we find you."

Officials have not disclosed many details surrounding the woman's disappearance, only that she was at the park without her phone or dogs.

Police in Bensalem have also issued public notices about her disappearance.
