Upper Makefield Awards Road Repaving Bid; Is Your Street On The List?

The township received nine bids, all of which came in well under budget, said the township's engineer.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA - Seven roads and a parking lot will be repaved in Upper Makefield this year under the township's 2025 Road Paving project.

At its March meeting, the board of supervisors awarded a road repaving contract to Harris Blacktopping at a cost of $442,733.

Under the contract the following roads will be repaved: London Court, Round Hill Road, Planetree Court, Spring Oak Drive, Eagle Road, Creamery Road, Colts Neck Road and the parking lot at Lookout Park.

The township received nine bids, all of which came in well under budget, said the township’s engineer. “We received great results,” she said.

An alternate bid for the paving of the parking lot at Brownsburg Park was taken off the list and will be bid as a separate project due to the porous nature of the project.
