Upper Makefield Fire Co. Recognizes Top Responders, Service Milestones

The firefighters held their annual banquet recently to recognize the achievements of its volunteers in 2022.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — The members of the all-volunteer Upper Makefield Fire Company gathered on Saturday evening for its annual recognition banquet. The event took place at the Jericho National Golf Club.

The company meets for a banquet once a year to recognize its members on their accomplishments during the previous year.

The company recognized CJ Berger, Matt Gorman and Mark Wert for five years of service; Dawn Berger and Ed "Chip" Coff for 30 years of service. And Randy Berger for 35 years of service.

Firefighter Randy Berger is recognized for 35 years of service to the company.

Firefighters Cam Radon and Rubin Avani are recognized for training hours.

Firefighters logging the most training hours in 2022 were Paul McDaniel (329 hours), Cam Radon (272 Hours), CJ Berger (220 hours), Rubin Avani (215 hours) and Kevin Brewer (179 hours).

The company also recognized its Top 10 Responders for 2022. With 245 emergency calls, firefighter Paul Dollings logged the most with 171 Calls. Other top responders were Ed "Chip" Coff (162 calls), Randy Berger (152 calls), Dave Wise (136 calls), Bart Krauss (134 calls), Kevin Campbell (122 calls), Pete Cheyney (119 calls), Chris Muth (113 calls), Tyler Hub (92 calls) and Kevin Brewer (91 calls).

In addition, the fire company presented a special recognition award to Upper Makefield Supervisor
and fire liaison Tom Cino and the Upper Makefield administrative staff for all their assistance during the flood emergency in July.

The fire company recognized Tom Cino, chairman of the Upper Makefield Board of Supervisors, and the township's administrative team for their assistance with the July flash flood.
