Upper Makefield Police Looking For Vehicle Involved In Mail Thefts
The vehicle fled from police on Friday and was last seen heading into New Jersey via the Washington Crossing bridge, police said.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — Police are asking residents to keep watch for a black Mercedes Benz, which has been identified as involved in a rash of mail thefts in the area.
Upper Makefield Police had previously located the vehicle, which fled from officers when they tried to stop it. Since then, the vehicle has been identified by a multi-county investigation as being involved in the thefts.
Between 9:30 and 10 a.m. on Friday, officers were again checking neighborhoods for the vehicle when they located it in the Timber Ridge development. The vehicle is now displaying a different PA registration plate from when it had previously fled from police,

Once again the vehicle fled from attempts by police to make a stop. It was last seen heading into New Jersey via the Washington Crossing Bridge.
“If you see the vehicle in your neighborhood, please call 911 immediately. We will continue to remain vigilant. We hope to bring these perpetrators to justice soon,” police said.
