Upscale Cocktail Bar, Distillery To Open On State Street In June

A "relaxed yet upscale" cocktail bar is opening this spring on South State Street. Triple Sun Spirits tells Patch they anticipate an early June opening.

Triple Sun is an "ultra-premium small batch distillery," according to its website. The State Street tasting room will featuring handmade cocktails and local wine, beer, cider and mead with a focus on its own line of hand crafted small-batch spirits.

Triple Sun, which has a location in Emmaus, tells Patch it produces ultra premium rums, whiskeys and gins. It also offers special release collaborations with breweries, meaderies, cideries and wineries.

The tasting room will be designed to showcase its products for sale by the bottle, but guests can also enjoy local wine, beer, mead and cider in addition to premium hand made cocktails, company representatives said.

There will be a space to book for events and parties.

According to its Facebook page, the Newtown location is hiring full and part time bartenders/mixologists, cocktail waitresses and bar backs.
