Valentine's Concert To Bring 'An Evening Of Romance' To Bucks College

NEWTOWN, PA — Bucks County Community College will host a Valentine’s concert titled “Love, Always: An Evening of Romance Inspired by the Great American Songbook, Broadway, and Classic Pop” on Friday, Feb. 13. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Zlock Performing Arts Center.

Keith and Amy Spencer, a baritone and soprano duo, will perform love songs that span various eras and styles. Their program will include selections from the Great American Songbook, classic Broadway and Hollywood favorites, and popular ballads from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. An extraordinary jazz ensemble composed of musicians from the Philadelphia area will accompany the Spencers.

The Zlock Performing Arts Center is located on the Newtown Campus at 275 Swamp Road in Newtown. Free parking will be available for attendees. The Zlock Lobby Bar will open at 6 p.m. for refreshments; cash payments will be accepted.

The concert is part of the Bucks Live! series, which offers innovative programs designed to entertain, inspire, and enrich Bucks County’s cultural landscape. The series aims to provide access to world-class live music, dance, and theatrical performances at an affordable price, close to home.
