Veterans Day Celebration Planned at Council Rock North
The event is a collaboration between the Council Rock School District and the Morell Smith Post 440 of the American Legion in Newtown.
Council Rock North High School will hold a Veteran’s Day ceremony on Nov. 11 at 8:15 a.m. All veterans are invited to attend.
The event is hosted by the Council Rock North Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society, Principle Susan C. McCarthy, Vice Principle Allen Gamble and the Morell Smith Post 440 of the American Legion in Newtown.
Veterans from various American Legion Posts will interact with the social studies students and be interviewed by them.

“Last year’s Veterans Day event was very successful and rewarding for both students and veterans alike,” according to an announcement from the local American Legion.
Veterans who would like to attend should RSVP by November 6 by emailing CNR.RHOKAPPA@gmail.com or calling 215-944-1333. (Indicate your interest in conversing with the students or just with your fellow veterans.)
