Woman Who Died In Fatal Crash In Wrightstown Township Identified
The 49-year-old woman suffered severe injuries in a two car crash on Worthington Mill Road on April 28 and died the next day at St. Mary's.
WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bucks County Coroner’s Office has identified Elisabeth Burnett-Martin, 49, of Northampton Township as the woman who died in a fatal traffic accident on April 28 in Wrightstown Township.
Burnett-Martin was severely injured in a two car crash on Worthington Mill Road in the area of Mud Road around 5:30 p.m. She was transported to St. Mary Medical Center where she died the next day from multiple injuries, according to Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck.
“Our sincerest condolences to her family and friends,” said Buck.

According to preliminary findings reported by the Newtown Township Police Department, the driver of a 2019 Audi was traveling east on Worthington Mill Road towards Durham Road when he lost control around a bend in the roadway and was unable to regain control before striking a 2017 Subaru traveling westbound.
The occupants of the Audi - a 17 year old male and an 18 year old male - were treated for non-threatening injuries, police said.

Burnett-Martin, who was driving the Subaru, was entrapped in the wreckage of her car. She was extricated by firefighters from the Lingohocken Fire Company and was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in extremely critical condition, police said.
