Don't Forget to Vote for Council Rock North in B101 Competition

Don't forget to vote for Council Rock North in the B101 Christmas Choir Competition. North’s choir will be featured on the station Wednesday at 7 a.m.

For the past four years, Philadelphia-based B101 has sponsored the Christmas Choir Competition.

The winning choir each morning will move on to the finals and the overall winner will be announced on Friday.  

“The competition involves an initial audition and then a showcase of local choirs whose audio rendition of a song will be played on the radio. Listeners are asked to listen to the choirs and then vote for their favorite,” according to information from the district.

The winning choir will sing with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops during a concert on Dec. 19 and will receive a new Cunningham grand piano. The second place winner will receive a cash award of $2,000 and third place, $1,000.
