Washington Crossing Park to Host Historic Encampment
The day will feature colonial reenactors and historians who will present 18th century cooking demonstrations.

Washington Crossing Historic Park will host a free historic encampment on Monday, Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The day will feature colonial reenactors and historians who will present 18th century cooking demonstrations, including outdoor cooking over an open fire, pickling and preserving, butter churning, and pie and bread making.
A blacksmith will be on hand creating handmade colonial kitchen utensils on the forge and members of the 5th Pennsylvania Regiment will set up a military encampment.

This free event will take place in the lower park, at the corner of River Road and Rt. 532 in Washington Crossing.
