Weekend Weather: T-Storms Possible, Then More Sun

The streak of nice spring weather will continue this weekend, but first a chance of thunderstorms is possible, according to the National Weather Service.

There's a chance of isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. There's a slight possibility of some more showers Saturday morning but then the NWS says the skies should clear, with a high in the upper 60s.

Sunday looks to be sunny and nice, with a high in the mid 60s.

Here is the weekend forecast:

Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 56. West wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Saturday: A slight chance of showers before 11am. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 69. North wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39. North wind 7 to 10 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 64. North wind around 7 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 46.MondayMostly sunny, with a high near 77.

Monday Night: A chance of showers after 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
