LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A mixed-use development that would include a Wegmans supermarket is proposed in Lower Makefield Township, across from Shady Brook Farm.
The proposal, which would feature Wegmans as the anchor tenant, also includes upscale apartments, and the preservation of the historic house and barn. It is proposed to be located on a strip of land between Stony Hill Road and I-295, just across from Shady Brook Farm.
The plans include a Wegmans, plus six additional retail buildings and nine residential buildings and a clubhouse. A courtyard and amphitheater is adjacent to the existing historic house.
