Are you dreaming of a white Christmas? It might just happen this year in Bucks County.

Are you dreaming of a white Christmas? It might just happen this year in Bucks County. The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook across Eastern Pennsylvania ahead of the storm system that they believe could drop "light snow" on the area Sunday night, plus bring strong winds on Monday.

In Bucks County, there is a 50 percent chance of snow between 9 p.m. and midnight on Christmas Eve, then a chance of snow after midnight on Christmas morning.

Snow is expected in the northern areas of Pennsylvania toward the end of the day on Christmas Eve, according to AccuWeather. At this time, all or mostly rain is forecast from Washington, D.C., to Philadelphia but snow and sleet is possible in the northern suburbs of the city depending on the temperatures, forecasters with the NWS say. Overnight lows Sunday into Monday are predicted to be in the upper 20s in Bucks County.
