Looks like Saturday won't be much better. There's a 40 percent chance of showers Saturday, with a break after 9 p.m. that night. But the break won't last long: more rain is predicted Sunday morning.
The good news is, there looks to be a clearing during the afternoon of Mother's Day. Sunday night and Monday will remain clear, the NWS predicts.

The dry weather will be brief — more rain is predicted Tuesday and Wednesday.
