Women's March Planned In Newtown This Month
An Women's March has been organized and will occur on October 17th in Newtown, PA.
While an Trump parade happens on Saturday, October 17th with supporters heading to Doylestown, an march for women's rights will be occurring in Newtown.
It is being called the "Newtown, PA Women's March" and it will be held at the Linton Memorial Park in Newtown from 1:45 to 3pm. According to the event, the plan is to gather at the park followed by marching down to Lincoln and Washington Ave where they will then protest.
According to the website they are marching "for women's rights, in opposition to the new Supreme Court Justice being filled right before the election and everything that comes with that. We will use our voices, ourselves, signs, each other, etc."

The event will be held while following COVID-19 guidelines. All marchers will be masked to social distance and wear masks throughout the march and protest. Everyone is welcome to attend the event and everyone is encouraged to spread the word and bring friends.
