Wrightstown Farmers Market Open On July 4

Blueberries will make their debut at the market, which will be open from 9 am to 1 pm at the Wrightstown Municipal Building parking lot.

Pick up some local food for your Fourth of July picnic at the Wrightstown Farmers Market, which will be open Saturday.

A variety of locally-produced foods will be available for purchase, including vegetables, dairy products, meats, cheeses, bread and more.

“Come celebrate the holiday by supporting your local farmers and producers,” market organizers said in an email.

Here are some highlights for Saturday:

  • Blueberries make their debut at Solebury Orchards as well as more pie cherries, regular cherries
  • Lots of summer produce like cucumbers, summer squash, and even some tomatoes
  • Samples of digestion-strengthening fermented foods from Cucina Verde
  • Samples of flavored honey from Truly Pure and Natural
  • For the kids: Red, white and blue art with Wrightstown Friends Nursery School, plus face painting
  • Guest chef is Mark Miller from Hamilton’s Grill Room

The market is held Saturdays from May to November from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wrightstown Municipal Building parking lot, 2203 Second Street Pike.
