As officers were gaining control of this scene, an elderly female wandered aimlessly wondering towards them from the area of the garage.
The woman, identified as Jared Rose’s 95-year-old grandmother, was bleeding profusely from the head and was missing several teeth. She was not able to clearly speak because her lower jaw appeared fractured, according to police.
“When asked who did this to her and she replied ‘my grandson Jared.’ She offered no explanation why he did it and was not clear on the events that led up to it,” officers said.
