WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Wrightstown Township has a new manager.

At its meeting on Dec. 2, the Wrightstown Township Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to hire Stacy Crandell as its next township manager pending the satisfactory completion of a background check.

Crandall, who most recently served as the manager of Souderton Borough, will be paid an annual salary of $120,000 plus benefits to handle the township's day-to-day administrative operations.

The township's former manager, Stacey Mulholland, resigned from the post in July to become manager in her home township of Plumstead where she had previously served on the board of supervisors. She had served as manager in Wrightstown since July 2022, replacing Joe Pantano who retired from the job after 13 years.

Following Mulholland's departure in early August, the township hired municipal consultant and retired Warminster Township manager Gregg Schuster as its interim manager. He will continue in that role until Crandell joins the township's staff.

A resident of Chalfont, Crandell earned a municipal administration certificate in leadership, management, and public administration from the Pennsylvania State University. She also holds a master's degree in business administration from Holy Family University with a concentration in public administration and a B.A. in communications (public relations and political science) from Elizabethtown College.

Crandell brings to the township 14 years of experience in municipal management, most recently as the manager of Souderton Borough and before that as an assistant manager in Doylestown Township from May 2022 to September 2023 and in Worcester Township, Montgomery County, from June 2020 to May 2022.
