You Won't Believe What Towns Ranked '10 Worst Philly Suburbs'
A new ranking by Roadsnacks.net says Doylestown is the third worst Philly suburb. Clearly, something went wrong there.

A new ranking by Roadsnacks.net lists the top 10 “Worst Philadelphia Suburbs” — and you won’t believe some of the towns that made the list.
For example, Doylestown, the county seat of Bucks County and a town lauded for its culture and shopping, was ranked third on the list of Worst Philadelphia Suburbs.
Here are the 10 Worst Philadelphia Suburbs, as ranked by Roadsnacks.net:

- Media
- West Chester
- Souderton

Here’s how the popular ranking site came up with this list:
To figure out how bad a place is to live in, we only needed to know what kinds of things people like and then decide what cities have the least amount of those things. We threw a lot of criteria at this one in order to get the best, most complete results possible. Using the government census, Bureau of Labor Statistics and Sperling’s Best Places, this is the criteria we used:

- Less jobs
- Low incomes
- Low population density (No things to do)
- Low home values
- Higher crime
- High cost of living
“We crunched the numbers from the Census’s 2009-2014 American Community Survey and — like magic — got the list from worst to best. Then, we ranked the list based on places that are the worst in all of these categories,” Roadsnacks.net said.
