Youth Art Exhibit Opens At Churchville Nature Center

Come out to see beautiful artwork by 17 young Newtown art students!

Beautiful images created by several young Newtown artists age 8-17 are on exhibit at The Churchville Nature Center now through September 6th, 2015. The art students created paintings of the various caterpillars and butterflies that inhabit the butterfly house which will help docents and visitors identify the species during tours. (Artwork shown above: Eastern Comma Butterfly by Hanna Lipski, Milbert’s Tortoiseshell Butterfly by Erin Casey, Monarch Butterfly by Grace Porter.) Please consider coming out to show your support for the 17 talented young artists from our area who are participating in the art exhibit.
