YOBC offers exceptional music education programs for students in grades 3-12 and includes young musicians from over 14 school districts in Bucks and the surrounding counties. Five YOBC ensembles will be performing on Saturday, March 25th at 2pm at Holland Middle School. The Saturday concert will feature YOBC’s three string ensembles and the Wind Symphony, followed by the Philharmonia, performing Brahms’s Hungarian Dances Nos. 5 & 6, Strauss Jr.’s Die Fledermaus Overture and Rossini’s William Tell Overture.

Sunday’s performances include the YOBC Percussion Ensemble, Concert Winds and YOBC’s flagship Symphony Orchestra. These ensembles will be sharing the Sunday March 26th concert, held at 4pm at Delaware Valley University’s Life Sciences Auditorium. This concert is not to be missed, as YOBC student Eva Houlton, one of the winners of the Concerto Soloist Competition, will be performing Camille Saint-Seans’ Cello Concerto No. 1 in A Minor. Eva, a senior at New Hope-Solebury High School, has been praised for their expressivity and maturity throughout their music career.
