Zoës Kitchen Celebrates Grand Opening

Newtown's newest restaurant, Zoës Kitchen, celebrated its grand opening Thursday.

The restaurant, which serves Mediterranean-inspired dishes, is located on Sycamore Street next to Jules Thin Crust in the Goodnoe Corner Shopping Center. It has taken over the space formerly occupied by Cosi.

For the grand opening, restaurant staff gave out reusable beverage cups, which can be filled for free through May. Staff said the cups would be given out through the week until the supply ran out.

Zoës offers a variety of fresh salads and entrees, including chicken kabobs, chicken rollups and hummus.  The 98-seat restaurant has WiFi for guests as well as outdoor seating for 30. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
