• Raymond H. Hurley Jr. 1933-2026 (fcfreepresspa.com) — Newville readers are remembering Raymond H. Hurley Jr., a Newville native and Newville High School graduate who later lived in Bloserville and worked for decades at the former Peter J. Schweitzer Mill. The 92-year-old Army veteran is survived by his wife of 67 years, Donna, six children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private.
