NORRISTOWN, PA — One teenager has been arrested and another one is wanted in the fatal gang-related shooting of a man in Norristown last month, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced.

Kaleem Roland, 16, has been taken into custody and charged with first degree murder of 20-year-old Tahaj Harrison. Naseem Worrell, 17, also of Norristown, is wanted on first degree murder charges, and a $5,000 reward has been issued for information leading to his capture.

The incident occurred back on May 23 on the 600 block of Corson Street at around 9:43 p.m.

Worrell belonged to a group called the All Black Bandits/300s, which was fueling with another faction called the the Grimy Boys/6’s, which Harrison belonged to, investigators said.

Both gangs are well known to law enforcement and have a history of violent conflict, according to authorities.

In the four hours leading up to the killing, Worrell and Harrison exchanged numerous messages regarding the feud, and Worrell found a post by Harrison about the killing of a recent group member to be disrespectful, officials said.

Roland, Worrell, and a third shooter approached Harrison on Corson Street in front of a house and all three fired several shots at him before fleeing the scene, the DA said.

Harrison staggered a few homes away to his backyard, where he collapsed. He was pronounced dead by first responders at the scene.

Roland, Worrell, and the third shooter fled to a home on Oak Street, and then to another home in Norristown, before taking an Uber somewhere in Delaware County, according to the DA.

Roland was booked at Montgomery County Youth Detention Center without bail, and a preliminary hearing is set for June 13.

Worrell should be considered armed and dangerous, police said. Anyone who sees him should not approach him and should call 911 immediately.

If you have information on Worrell or can identify the third shooter, contact Montgomery County Detectives at 610-278-3386 or Norristown Police at 610-270-0977.
