10 'Deadbeat' Montco Parents Arrested In Overnight Raids

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Sheriff’s deputies arrested 10 deadbeat parents, who owed $122,593.32 in child support arrearages for 14 children, during an overnight sweep on Wednesday, Montgomery County Sheriff Sean P. Kilkenny announced in a statement.

An additional defendant, a parole violator, was also arrested.

“One of the Sheriff’s Office priorities is to insure that deadbeat parents support their families,” Sheriff Sean Kilkenny said in the statement. “I want to thank our deputies and the support of Gary Kline in the Domestic Relations Office for another successful operation in rounding up 11 deadbeat parents.”

Twelve deputies swept through Glenside, Wyncote, Willow Grove, Abington, Pottstown, and other areas starting at 1:00 a.m., without any major incidents, the sheriff’s office said.

However, one defendant resisted arrest, and two others were found with the use of K9s, after their attempt to hide.

The following defendants are in custody, and are awaiting a hearing:

• Christopher Foreman of 322 Winding Way, Glenside, Pa., owes $33,046.63 for one child.
• Heriberto Garcia of 54 Old Cedarbrook Rd., Wyncote, Pa., owes $10,406.54 for one child.
• Andrew Gibbons of 421 Elk Ave., Glenside, Pa., owes $5,442.37 for two children.
• Kenneth Gurley of 243 Lee Ave., Pottstown, Pa., owes $21,954.91 for one child.
• Dwayne Hendley of 273 N. Charlotte St., Apt. 1, Pottstown, Pa., owes $8,177.91 for two children.
• Sean Linville of 1205 Walnut Ridge, Pottstown, Pa., owes $2,918.48 for one child.
• Kyle Martin of 231 Green Meadows Dr., Douglasville, Pa., owes $7,669.42 for one child.
• Edward Means of 15 E. 2nd St., Pottstown, Pa., owes $12,620.40 for two children.
• Travis Richmond of 743 Logan St., Pottstown, Pa., owes $14,057.97 for two children.
• Timothy Stoll of 2311 Edward Rd., Abington, Pa., owes $6,198.69 for one child.
• Deshawn Trump of 774 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, Pa., was picked up on a parole violation.
