14 Norristown Homes To Be Reviewed By Historical Architectural Review Board
These 14 Norristown properties were submitted to the borough's Historical Architectural Review Board.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- The Norristown Borough Council has approved several historical properties around the borough to be reviewed by the Historical Architecture Review Board, or HARB.
During a council meeting on November 1, 14 different properties were submitted to the council to approve or disapprove their "Certificate of Appropriateness" for further review.
The chief function of the HARB is, according to borough code, "to conduct a survey of buildings, structures, objects and monuments for the purpose of determining those of historic and/or architectural significance and pertinent facts about them." HARB then works, sometimes in coordination with partnering agencies, to provide public outreach, extend historical district boundaries, and protect areas where necessary.
