NORRISTOWN, PA — A manhunt is underway for two men who police said shot, killed, and robbed a man along the Schuylkill River Trail in West Norriton, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday.

Cody Reed, 23, of Norristown, and Marquise Johnson, 23, of Philadelphia have both been charged with first degree murder, robbery, and related counts in the killing of Daquan Tucker, 25, of Audubon. Warrants are out for their arrest, and a $10,000 reward has been posted.

Police indicated it was a robbery gone wrong.

Tucker, Reed, and Johnson all knew each other, investigators said. The trio left the Norristown home of Reed, who was already on probation for robbery charges, at around 7 p.m. on March 2 to walk to the Schuylkill River Trail. A criminal complaint stated that Tucker's friends believed he was going there to smoke.

The DA's office did not say who pulled the trigger or if they knew the exact timeline of events, but Tucker was shot multiple times on the trail and died, police said.
