2-Month-Old Among Montco's 6 New Pediatric Coronavirus Cases
Montgomery County recorded six new pediatric cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. The number of overall cases in the county is at 649.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County recorded six new pediatric cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, including a two-month-old child, officials announced. There are now a total of 32 residents 18 or under who have tested positive for the virus in the county.
The two-month-old, a boy from Lower Pottsgrove, has not needed to be hospitalized, and is recovering at home.

Three of the new cases Tuesday are under the age of nine, and three of them are between 10 and 18, officials said.

Of the infected children in Montgomery County, two of them, both under the age of nine, remain hospitalized.
Young children remain the county's lowest infected age group after those who are 90 and up. The "healthiest" age groups are among the highest infected in the county, statistics show. Here's a breakdown:
- 20-29: 79 cases, 0 hospitalized
- 30-39: 90 cases, 2 hospitalized
- 40-49: 88 cases, 4 hospitalized
- 50-59: 104 cases, 7 hospitalized
- 60-69: 89 cases, 8 hospitalized, three dead
- 70-79: 57 cases, 12 hospitalized, two dead
- 80-89: 22 cases, 5 hospitalized, two dead
- 90 and up: 3 cases, 1 hospitalized, one dead
The county as a whole has 649 cases as of Wednesday morning.
