29th Annual Stony Creek Cleanup March 28th

Community cleanup event of the Stony Creek, and the objective is to clean and any removable trash and debris from the Stony Creek.

A Community “29th Annual Stony Creek Cleanup” event will be held at the Norristown Bocce Court March 28th 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon. This is a rain or shine event, please come prepared if bad weather is imminent ie: rain suit or jacket, & waders and non-slip boots if you are intending on cleaning the water. Gloves, trash bags, food, and drinks will be provided. This is an opportunity for community service in case anyone needs to fill community service time. There is a disclaimer to be signed to participate before the event begins. The event usually draws 120 to 170 people and the more help the faster we accomplish our goals on cleaning specific areas of the creek. We end with a picture of the entire crew for the year. Afterwards there will be a fish stocking event at the Stony Creek Anglers nursery at 1:00 PM!
