Three members of the Philadelphia 76ers organization have tested positive for coronavirus, the team announced.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Three members of the Philadelphia 76ers organization tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the team announced Thursday evening. They become one of many NBA franchises to have been directly touched by the virus, after the Utah Jazz's Rudy Gobert was among the first wave of cases weeks ago.
The individuals who tested positive have not been identified. It's not clear if they are players, coaches, or staff.

All of the positive individuals are in self-isolation and are being monitored. Their symptoms do not require hospitalization, the team said.
They were among a number of players, coaches, and specific basketball operations support staff in the organization who were tested after "receiving a recommendation" from medical experts to do so.

"We extend our gratitude and appreciation to the public health and medical communities for their tireless efforts during these challenging times, as well as to our fans and partners for their support," the team said in a statement.
Numerous other NBA players, including superstar Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets, have come down with coronavirus in the last week.
The NBA season was suspended indefinitely earlier in March, along with the NHL. The start of the MLB season has been delayed indefinitely, as well.
There are a total of 185 cases of coronavirus in Pennsylvania as of Thursday evening.
